Apple’s iPhone 17 Series
Apple has just announced its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and the all-new iPhone Air, which is replacing the Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day is not your style, and you still want to secure one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, in advance of the September 19 release date.The iPhone 17 has a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is quicker and more optimized, especially when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll see a significant jump in speed and improved gameplay courtesy of ProMotion.
Camera wise, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and also a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and more impressive.

The iPhone 17 will come in black, white, steel gray, light blue, green, and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in colours including blue, orange and silver.
